I've been seeing doctors over the past
year for an overall feeling of illness.
I've had cat scans, blood tests, nothing
was revealed. The past couple of months
I really started to notice my face being
asymmetrical. On one side, the bridge of
my nose is very swollen, as is my eye
socket, and forehead. I've had
debilitating headaches in the past month.
I am nauseated by them, and sometimes
have difficulty with simple tasks. I
definitely feel neuroligcical changes.
My doctor is new, and she was stumped.
She thought hmmm...Maybe lyme disease. I
said, "would that make my face twice the
size on one side, and cripple me with
pressue type pain?" she ordered a ct scan
of the brain and sinuses. I went monday.
Yesterday, thursday, the pain was
horrible. I hadn't heard anything from
the office, so I called. Apparently my
doctor is on vacation. The nurse said
that she hadn't seen my report, but that
was probably in a stack, that she would
find it, grab my chart and phone me right
back. I waited and waited. At 4:30 she
called me and said that a doctor from the
office would need to talk to me about the
results. That he may call me that night
or this morning. Well, now i'm wondering
what is going on! I took a flashlight,
and shined it in my nose. The entire
right nostril is completely blocked by a
hard, red, bony like growth! What are
the possibilities with something like
this? Thanks for your time!

I have the same hard red nasal growth as
you. I am getting a CT scan this week. Did
you find out what yours is?
