Sensations (visual, audio, olfactory, tactile) during which a person is aware of an inherent falsehood are called "illusions". If a person believes in such false sensations, then they are called "hallucinations". Both illusions and hallucinations could be symptoms of a severe psychiatric disorders (psychosis) or brain damage (so called psycho-organic syndrome) from poisons, traumas, cerebral-vascular insults, inflammations, epilepsy, tumors etc. You can go to your doctor to gain more expert advice in the daignosis of your sensory experiences.
