Hey I posted this on the teen preg forum a few mins ago, but I thought I would post it here too (faster responce)...Plus i've had a few more contractions to add...Lol

i've been timing my contractions the last little bit...And they're not exactly steady (ie. Always every 10 minutes) but they've all been 10 minutes or less...I haven't gotten up yet to move around because I am afraid it will stop them. Lol.

i had a bit of back pain with the first one...But these ones just feel like my abdomen is being squeezed by some giant hand and i'm going to explode. They kind of hurt...But not really bad...I'm guessing it it's real labour it will get worse later...Lol

anyways just wanted to know what you guys thought, i'm just to excited and hopeful to really get my hopes up...Lol!

I guess what i'm asking is does it matter that they're kinda jumpy but under 10 mins?

Thanks I went to the hospital, and I am having steady contractions but they're not strong enough yet so they sent me home. The nurse said I am still a 1-2 cm dilated (i was one cm at 34 weeks and my doctor said I was almost 2, two weeks ago) but my cervix is really thin (about 70-80%) and so she asked me how I felt about coming home and advised me too because she thinks this may be my last night with a good sleep (i hope she is right!!), she also said that she thinks once I start going into more productive labor that it'll progress really fast (i hope so!) lol...So I am just waiting now...I hope when I wake up in the morning I am still having contractions (i've been home for an hour and still getting them). Just thought i'd update you guys :)

Well, hopefully she's just being stubborn now and when she's born she'll be a really good baby for ya!
At least your making progress. I'm not even dialated! I've had zero contractions and i'm pretty sure she hasn't even dropped yet! I'm just hoping that when things start to happen for me, that they all happen at once, and boom she'll be born really fast. I'm sort of anxious to see what my dr says on tuesday, if i'm dialated or not. But I am dreading having to go cuz "ouch" that hurts! Anyways, I hope you get close painful contractions (i mean that in a nice way!!!) and she's born soon!

lol first of all thanks, haha and secondly, your lucky, I wouldn't want her to be born so bad and be so frusterated (i love pregnancy) but i've been in early labor since 34 weeks! It's been slowly one thing after the other but sooooo slow! It's so frusterating, I would have loved to wait and even be over due and have everything go at once, lol.

Hmmm, seems like the more you want something to happen the further away it is from happening lol.
We just got done eating and then I realized it was spicy food (his sister sent over some mexican food I don't know what it's called) and I was thinking...This is good maybe i'll go into labor lol. But no, I don't feel anything. We'll get there some day!!
I think I would be frustrated to be in your shoes, being in early labor for so long! Hopefully you'll get some results tonight. All 4 of us (me and my brothers) were all born at night. I've heard a lot babies are. Maybe you'll just go into labor and she'll be delivered really fast! Hang in there
