I am almost 13 weeks, and I am so bloated. Does anybody else have/has anyone else had this problem? Some of my pants are really uncomfortable, and I just feel like i'm way too big for how far along I am. I mean, I know i'm not really going to be showing at this point.

I am naturally not a small girl, but this is ridiculous. I haven't weighed myself since my last appointment a few weeks ago, but at that point I had only gained one pound. I'm eating better since getting pregnant instead of worse, and I don't feel like i'm eating more than usual. So I don't think it's weight gain, I think it's just bloating.

Re: Ugh
Hi lalee I also went thru that stage for me its perfectly normal as long as you wont feel extremes such as extreme tiredness etc. Hopefully its goona go soon as you're in you're early 2nd trimester as soon as you feel the pregnancy glow you wont be bothered anymore :d although I can't say that things would be alot eaiser lol (that's the perks)
:d just make sure little one's getting the right nutrients and eat smaller amounts of meals per day but in the interval of 3 hours to avoid bloatedness

Do you look bloated in your belly??? I know that I didn't really show but it seemed that I was getting fatter hips and butt and thighs this made it hard to fit into my pants. Then my belly started growing and I think I am doing pretty good now, don't worry every body has different changes, as long as you are feeling healthy.

Make sure that you are drinking more water than you would think is necessary or needed. That is the best way to help get the bloating down, also make sure that you are laying down with your feet elevated 6 to 8 inches. You may find it more comfortable to put the pillow under your knees.

Bloating is normal and preganancy is horribly uncomfortable, (i am a guy so I cannot say it from firsthand experience but watching other ladies and my own wife is enough to know it is not commfy) but with some added care for yourself, you can make it a bit better. If you feel tired, lay down if you are sore, get in a warm tub and relax.

You will only be pregnant a couple times in life, try to make it the best experience you can and if someone wants to pamper you, let them and enjoy it. You deserve it, you have a long tough road ahead and pampering fo mom doesnt happen enough as it is.

Good luck,
brian

Thanks everyone. I think I was just feeling a little more baloonish yesterday than most days and I was kinda down. Lol I do feel better today, though still a tad bloated. I am trying to drink as much water as possible.

Tama, I am really comfortable laying on my back to watch tv or something, and I usually put my feet on the arm of the couch. It's odd that I do that but didn't know I should. Another odd, related thing: I naturally have always slept on my left side with a pillow between my knees (my hips will hurt the next day without the pillow), and that's supposedly the best position for the baby. Weird.

Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, guys!
