Hi, I haven't ever been on here before but
I have been reading some other peoples
stories. Well I am 18 and pregnant. At
least think I am because I had no period
last month and this month I had nothing
until yesterday. Now it is almost like a
regular period happening now. I am only
having pain in my lower back but other
than that no cramps or anything. I have
been feeling sick either at night or in
the mornings, I have been having mood
swings, and i've been tired lately. Do
you think I am pregnant or having a
miscarriage or is this just normal for a
pregnancy? My fiance and I are really
excited about this so I hope all is well.
Please someone write me back, i've never
been through anything like this and I
don't have a mom or anyone like that to
talk to. So I am completely lost on like
what I can do or what I can't do while
being pregnant. Well, if you know
anything please write
back...........Thanks

It is possible you just skipped a period
for some other reason. Did you not take a
test after you suspected you may be
pregnant?

No I didn't take a test because no one but
me and my fiance know that I could be
pregnant. So I just figured that if I had
no period this month that it'd probably be
final that I am pregnant. But I mean I am
not bleeding like really bad. It isn't
really light or really heavy its like in
the middle. But i'm going to take a test
when I stop bleeding.

It's always best to take a home pregnancy
test even before you tell anyone, just in
case. How old are you, by the way?

If you missed 2 periods and now are
bleeding, assuming you are pregnant--that
is usually why someone doesnt have their
period. I would go the the er right
away. Tell them you believe you are 3
months pregnant and they will do
something--then you will know for
sure--and if you are miscarrying they
might can do something to stop it.

I am 18 years old and the only reason that
I told my fiance is because I feel like he
should know I mean he deserves to know.
And I am going to either go to the doc.
Or hospital either tonight or tomorrow.
Just to see if I stop bleeding.

How many years have you been getting your
periods? Because they can reallly screw
you around sometimes. I've been
menstruating for 8 years now (i'm 17) and
they still sometimes randomly skip around.
(i'm not having sex, by the way.)
i'm not trying to convince you that you're
not pregnant, just so you know. I'm just
thinking of other possibilities.

I'm still wondering why you wouldn't take
a home test after your first missed
period. There are other reasons you can
miss your period, you can't really just
assume you're pregnant. Wouldn't you like
to know for sure if you are so you can
start taking proper care of yourself?
Have you been taking prenatal vitamins
since assuming you're pregnant?
