Young Impotent Man... Help!
Posted: 02-26-06 21:56pm

Hello

i'm 22 years old and ever since I became sexually active (a year and a half ago) I have had erection problems. The story is similar to many of the folks that add their posts here. I have never really been able to penetrate a girl. The first time I attempted to have sex, I was hard, but large amounts of precum were flooding my underwear during each make out session. When we finally got to the sexual intercourse part, after I have given my then first girlfriend oral sex, I noticed that I have lost my erection. After a few minutes my erection came back, I was able to penetrate her for about a minute, after which my erection withdrew again and we decided to stop. Soon after, we broke up and I took the situation as a simple cause of fear and anxiety. Three months later I started dating another girl. Each time we would make up, I noticed a pretty large amount of percum again. About a month into the relationship, we decided that it was time to take our relationship to another level. As unfortunate as it may be, the situation from my first intercourse occured once again. This time, my second girlfriend was understanding, as she thought I might just be anxious etc. We tried a few times afterwards, and each time my penis would die before any type of oral sex or intercourse. This lead to our breakup. Since we were together for about 4 months, and the only reason for our breakup was my problem, we've been going out unofficially since - I wanted to sort of be with her, but not burden her with my problem. Nevertheless, during that time I tried to have sex with one more girl, and I once again failed.
As mentioned before, i've unofficially dated my second girlfriend for about a year now, and we've attempted having sex many times, as she still wants to help me with this problem. This is where I would like to ask anyone on this forum for help. I have masturbated quite a lot during my childhood, from about 12 years old around 2 times a day until 21. Once I realized I had the erection problem I began masturbating no more than 3 times a week; nevertheless, this did not help. I tried using Dr. Lin's method for over masturbation revival for 3 months. This helped me a bit, as I regained morning erections, and my erections became a bit stronger. Nevertheless, I still can't have sex. I am able to masturbate and get hard for a pretty fair amount of time (15 minutes). During masturbation, after about 10 minutes of excitement, I begin to ooze out pre-cum. If at that moment I stop stroking off, I will loose my erection in around a minute. I also noticed that during the first few minutes of masturbation, if I stop stroking off, I will loose my erection in around 15 seconds (it bounces down pretty fast).
I have tried viagra, which allowed me to penetrate my girlfriend for about 2 minutes, but later on gave up on me and caused my erection to withdraw.
Another important sickness which I should tell you is my acne and overactive thyroid which was discovered a few weeks ago. The thyroid and acne are caused by my busy and stressful lifestyle. I work, go to school etc and have a lot of things on my mind.
I heard that an endocrinologist which specializes in andrology could help me, but I honestly don't want to play with my hormones at the age of 22. I know there are many serious side effects to that, and I would rather heal myself in a safe-natural way.
Currently i'm attending acupuncture sessions and take calming chinese herbs to help me out with my problems. These definitely help with my stress, as I feel a bit better most of the time, but don't really help with my ed.
I'm sorry for writing such an extensive post, but i'm really frustrated withmy situation, and I would appreciate any help, anyone could give me. I would like to do it not even for myself, but for the girl that has been hanging with me for so long, even though i've been having these problems since she met me.
One more thing which I have noticed is, when I give her oral sex, I get very red and my heart goes crazy fast. She told me that her ex boyfriends would get excited, but never as much as me; she says my heart runs wild when i’m intimate with her. And now the oddest thing, after oral sex, my acne basically disappears for about 3 hours, only to appear back the next day. I think, that once i’m able to have real sex, my other problems will disappear too...

Thank you very much for your help, and bless you all for your time and wisdom!

i apologize dearly to hear what you are going through. I feel you are not a burden to any women and getting excited about pleasing your women is a wonderful thing. That's a turn-on to me that a man is exited about pleasing me that shows you are really into the person she should be greatful. Im proud of you for caring about your health to even ask about this cuz most men's pride get in the way. I would check a Dr. To be safe or go to a free clinic if you can. You can try this technique too when you feel like your getting to excited think about something aousing but not as arousing as making love. That should help a little I hope. Its alright to be frustated with what your going through. You can also try to get a lil less exicted if he bothers her. Im going to try to look up more info. Good luck handsome take care and be easy

Eh, I disagree about thinking about other things while having sex/masturbating. Loss of focus will definitely not help as far as keeping an erection (my boyfriend has the same problem if he loses focus). It sounds like you may have a hormonal problem, and actually seeing a doctor about it might possibly help. Hormones can straighten out pretty quickly with medications. Have you talked to your doctor about blood flow or circulation? Both the reddening of the face and the inability to stay erect for a good length of time sound related to that, and hormonal fluctuations can cause a lot of different things. As far as your previous girlfriends, if they left you due to that they're not worth being with anyway. Sex is a plus, but it shouldn't be a necessity. Hopefully you'll find a solution to your problem!

Thank you littlemisstery and dannyboygirl

both of your replies are greatly appreciated. I have spent quite a lot of time reading about my problem, and hormonal imbalance has become possibly the prime reason. I've already been waiting for 2 months for a meeting with an endocrinologist, and I will see him in a matter of a week or so. I'm really hoping that he will be able to help me with this situation. Also, I noticed yesterday that I tend to contract my pc musle (that is due to excessive masturbation) and that causes excessive pre-cum, which eventually shuts down my erection...

Again, thanks for your replies and i'm hoping for more opinions!
