Can Paracetamol and Levonelle Cancel out Contraception? Posted: 02-27-06 05:58am
I took The Morning after pill Levonelle on
Saturday 27th at around 10pm after having
sex (condom split) at 11am that morning.
Because my stomach started to ache around
12am-1am i took paracetamol.Now im worried
that maybe the parcetamol effected the
levonelle pill and may cause it not to
work.
Would it effect the levonelle pill
Plus my breast were tender before i took
the pill and they are still tender.
I have no reason to think that i may have
been pregnant before i took the morning
after pill.
I'm anxious to know. my last period ended
Feb 10th so i cant find out if im pregnant
or not

There is no reason to be anxious. If you
are using the birth control pills every
day, according to the prescription, you
can’t be pregnant. Paracetamol has no
affection on hormones from the pill. You
can do a home pregnancy test... but be
sure that is is not administered more than
5 days before your next period is due to
arrive.
