Want to Get Pregnant But Have Gall Stones. Should I? Posted: 02-27-06 12:05pm
Hi everyone. Last august I was diagnosed
with gall stones after an attack that
lasted about 8 hours. The doctor told me
that I should have my gall bladder removed
and to stay on a strict low-fat diet until
then. I did not have insurance at the
time so I just stayed on the diet and
really changed my eating habits and have
not had one problem ever since. I do
have insurance now but my husband and I
want to try getting pregnant. I'm not
sure if I should have my gall bladder
removed first or if it can wait. If
anyone has any advice for me i'd gladly
appreciate it!!
P.S. I do plan on talking to my doctor
about this but in the meantime I just
wanted to hear from other people too.
