Im the Poster Child For Jerry Springer Posted: 02-28-06 02:31am
No really I am the poster child for jerry
springer. If this wasnt my life I wouldnt
believe it was happening. In order to
understand my problem you have to know my
whole twisted situation. My boyfriend of
3 years and I broke up for a month last
summer. During that time he slept with
his psychotic ex and got her pregnant. He
didnt find out until after we had gotten
back together and I decided to stay with
him through all of this as long as he
agreed to a whole list of things.
Everytime we talk about it he tells me how
he feels like he's ruined his life and his
potential and wishes it hadnt happened.
Yesterday I found out I was pregnant. Im
terrified to tell him and I think he'll
think I did it on purpose. For the record
I didnt- i'm a 19 yr old student on birth
control and a baby was the last thing I
saw happening in the next few years. I
dont know what to do... I hate myself for
making his life worse and making things
even more complicated. 2 babies from 2
different girls in one year? I dont think
anyone has that kind of situation for
obvious reasons. Do I tell him? Do I
leave (i was considering transferring to a
school in california)? I feel like if I
tell him he's going to hate me, but at the
same time I feel like its not fair to me
to have to give this baby up or not have
it just because he slept with his ex. I
could really use some advice....

I think it would be best if you told him.
I agree that it wouldn't be fair to you to
have to give the baby up just because he
slept with his ex. If you want the baby
you should keep it. It's all up to you
though. No one can tell you what to do.
Don't hate yourself for getting pregnant,
it happens. When I first found out I was
pregnant, me and my husband weren't
married. I was so worried that it would
ruin his life because he is in college and
all that. But, we got married and are
very happy with our decision. We will be
struggling for a while, but everything is
going to work out. Just as i'm sure
everything will work out for you. Don't
let anyone make your mind up for you, do
what you are comfortable with. Good luck
hun.. If you ever want to chat you can
message me anytime.

Yuo should definitely tell him, if you
wanna talk my msn is
carrie.Mullan@hotmail.Co.Uk - I have a
son and i'm 16... You
.D.E.F.I.N.I.T.E.L.Y. Should not have to
give up yor baby if you dont want to
because of something he did, that's not on
and ultimately it's your choice.
However I do think you should tell him -
if his reaction isnt what you want at
least you will know you gave it your best
shot by telling him.
Good luck, carrie

This sounds a little more maury povich
than jerry springer I mean u arent related
to the other chick right? And your bf
isnt your cousin? Alright then.
Its not your fault your pregnant sounds
like someone needs to learn how to keep it
in his pants if he doesnt want anymore
kids. This is your baby and if you want
to keep than keep it. Its time to b
selfish and only worry about u and your
unborn baby. Definately tell him tho
incase he does want to be there for you
and hey your kid will have a play friend/
half sibling!

Thats so much for the advice from
everybody. The more I think about it I
think im going to tell him because one way
or another he should know even if he
doesnt want to be involved. When I
thought about how my life was going to
turn out when I met him this was not what
I pictured lol! But I guess no one can
predict their life right? We're actually
going to disneyworld this weekend for his
birthday so i'll tell him when we get back
so it doesnt ruin the trip just in case.
Thanks again for all the help- im sure ill
be posting with more problems/questions
soon lol and ill let you know how telling
him goes.
