Sick Feeling When I Got Home From Dr.
Posted: 02-28-06 17:20pm

I had my appointment this morning at 10:15, by 10:30 I was done then went to the store quick to exchange my hubby's pants (i think he's gained almost as much as I have throughout this pregnancy! Lol) then I was home by 11, felt tired so I layed down for awhile. About noon I think I feel asleep for a half hour until my hubby got home from work. He fell asleep and as I lay there I felt nausiated, like I was going to puke. So I sat up for awhile, then went to the bathroom....But no puking. Went to the computer for a few minutes and talked to my mom....Felt kinda icky again so I went to lay on the couch and as soon as I got to the couch I went weak and my body went from feeling cold to feeling hot and I started to sweat. I yelled for my hubby for about 5 minutes (he was in our room with the door closed, sleeping and tv on) so finally he came out n' got me a cold soda and held it on my head. Then I felt extremely thirsty so I opened it and took a swig, then I was able to lay down better and at that point I got cold again, so he covered me up and I slept for 15 minutes, now I feel fine. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I do have low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) but that's not a normal reaction I have to that. The baby is fine, I feel her in there movin' around like she owns my body!!! Her heart rate was fine, my blood pressure was good. So far the baby has not dropped, and my cervix is starting to soften. Does this have anything to do with the pregnancy by any chance? Sorry for such a long post. Thanks for any replies!

Edit: by "does this have anything to do w/ pregnancy" I meant the episode I had, not the softening of the cervix and baby dropping. I know that is pregnancy....I graduated high school, honest!

I think it might have just been your low blood sugars---my son has them. Well, all my kids have them, and I used to before I went hi. Anyway I was gonna say--it just might have seemed different cuz of the late stage of your pregnancy. Or it could actually be a sign that something more is on the way. Good luck sweetie. Tsweitser had her baby--the 26th. You or kimmeh are next--might be a toss up.

Love ya,
