Is there any way a girl can get an abortion without the consent of her parents?

Taking the morning after pill doesn't mean she's "fine". I, along with a friend of mine, and countless other people have gotten pregnant on birth control and after taking the morning after pill.

Its a 10% chance if you take it in the first 72 hours but it goes down dramatcally if taken within the first 24 and he said his gf took it like 20 hrs after

no. I'm not pregnant. But I *was*. And I said o.N.E of my friends it happened to. Both of us were on bc and took the morning after pill and both ended up pregnant (completely different times, of course). Lots of people get pregnant after the morning after pill. It's not differant than bc. It's not 100%.

well nothing is perfect and that's just how life is. Take the pills (there are actually two). But it's been longer than 72 hours now, so it's probably too late.

Ok. Here's my thought on all of this. Well, actually my dad's. He's a smart guy.

If you can't handle the consequenses that come with having sex (ie: pregnancy) then don't do it. Or at least be very safe. Like having your girl on bc, and still using condoms. Every time.

The morning after pill is quite effective. Especially in the time frame that she took it. So I think ya'll are safe.

But remember, "when you whip it out, wrap it up".

Good luck!

You're gong to have to contact a planned parenthood place or something to get your information. Unless someone here from california knows the laws. Each state is different.

You need to get her to a clinic anyway to get a blood test. And calm down. I swear, it's not the end of the world.

Check out
http://www.Gynpages.Com
click on california and pick the city where you live, it has lists of clinics available to you. This has the clinic websites etc.. It will give you all the info you need.

With abortion without parental consent you just walk right into a clinic, you need an id card, and they would give you an abortion the same as any other person. You would need paperwork, a pregnancy test etc.. That website I gave you explains everything

hey how about no unprotected sex from here on out....That might be an idea...Oh and by the way dont' force your girlfriend or whatever she may be to you to have an abortion. Let her think this thru herself. Do you even know that she is preggers yet? Your too paranoid.

I just overheard the other day that you do not have to have parents approval in .California to get an abortion.
I am glad that she started her period. Please try to get her on some b/c pills or something and use a condom even though they may not be 100%,it is better than no % or the pull-out mehod.
Good luck to you both!
