Today I feel like i'm not ready. I mean I curretly do modelig in the miami and tampa markets. I would have to give up my passion. And now i'm booked for jobs that I will have to cancel on and that is horrible for my career. Committing to something then backing out it hurts my agency as well.I stand the chance of having my body change in such a drastic way. I mean what if I need a c-section. I'm scared of getting stretch marks. I'm not yet married although my boyfriend and I have been together for two years I just always wated to be married first. The i'm only 22 which is way to youg to be having babies. I'm just so scared of my future today. It's all I can think about. Am I really ready? I'm affraid of ot having enough support. My mother passed whe I was 19, my father is estranged. My boyfriend owns his own business so he works alot. Sometimes 12-13 hour days. I just feel kinda of alone today. Scared.Confussed.Emotional.Helpless.Worrie d.Needy.Unperpared.

I pray but that doesn't even comfort me today.

Welcome to the wonderful, and not so wonderful, world of pregnancy hormones. You will go through periods like this. Periods of doubting, worry, of being scared. It is all normal. The best thing to do is to find yourself a support network of people who you can talk to about these feelings.

I'm only 23 and i'm about 25 wks pregnant. I also do some modeling here and there, and my feonce(not married either) works out of state monday-saturday and he works like 70 hrs a week so when I do get to see him he's dead tired. There are a few places that love to have mommy-to-be models. Just think of it as being a great thing...Thats what I do and I deffinatley wasn't ready for a baby!!! I use shea..Coca butter so I don't get stretch marks and if you would need a c-section its not that noticable cause its below the bellybutton I believe. It's all good don't worry...Good luck

Hun..You can get back in shape after pregnancy...And whats more important ur modeling or your baby...Even if you have a csection, the scars now a days are tiny and down by ur pubic hair line..And they fade too...So don't get down it will all be okay

I am 23 and 22 weeks preg, my husband and I wanted to wait another 5 years but because of a medical condition we had to have a baby now or never. He will probably be our only child, and we are so blessed...

Even with all that, I am very short and have narrow hips. My hips have started spreading and I have some stretch marks on my ass and back, and when I first noticed them I cried all day. My husband told me I am gorgeous and that our son is worth it all, and after awhile I really got over it...At least my body is able to do this miracle that we weren't even sure would be possible, and if I have a few battle scars in the end, I will be proud of them! But it took a long time for me to accept these changes in my body...

No matter how beautiful you are now, looks do fade...But a child is forever. A legacy to live on...Keep your chin up!

Take care

The best way to avoid stretch marks is to only gain the alloted weight assigned by your .Dr. (i.E 25-35 lbs) don't be like me and gain almost 70!!!!!! Yikes!!!!

You skin can handle only sooo much stretching but if you go past it's limits, no amount of cocoa butter will help you! I study the skin and it's disorders so it's not like i'm just talking out of my @ss. Esthiology is very important in life, expecialy during pregnancy!

Good luck....I'm sure you'll be fine!! Emotionally and physically!! When you hit your 3rd trimester...Everything will change!!!
