Q: Afp Testing

I have just had my afp the nurse called and said that it came back positive. I am only 16 weeks. They also did glucose testing the same day.
Could that have triggered this in any way. Or my weight or anything else. I have three children already and have never had this happen before.
I have just remarried and this is my husbands 1st baby. How right and wrong are these test. I have to go and have further testing next week but I am dying inside. What else can I do? Has anyone else had this problem before? Help.
