Forceful Breaths Through Nose Whats Wrong I Can't Sleep Good Posted: 03-05-06 01:08am
Could I find out what could cause you to
forcefully suck in air through your nose?
This happens to me while awake, when I am
just falling asleep and very frequently
while asleep. I have 15 to 20 arousals an
hour in my sleep from this and suffering
extreme fatigue because of it. During
deep sleep I quit moving with these
breaths but never during the other stages
of sleep. I get up alot in my sleep
having to rub my nose and it's obviously
irritating me even when i'm not awake! I
video taped this so I am very aware of
what's going on. I also had a sleep study
but unfortunetly didn't reach most of the
stages of sleep, but had 18.5 arousals an
hour regardless. I have pain and pressure
in the upper area of my nose, blood
sometimes mixed in the mucus, dryness and
burning, frequent otitis media, headaches
and sore throats. Any idea what may be
doing this to me? I recently went to an
ent doctor but he totally ignored these
problems as I looked fine in his office so
he sent me home with some nose spray, said
my sinus problems was probley tmj and
didn't give me a follow up visit. So
please help.. Thanks!
