Shaking In My Sleep. I Want to Know Why Posted: 03-05-06 04:31am


Ever since I experienced a traumatic inncident in my life about two years ago I experience shaking in my sleep. I use to have nightmares but not recently. The shaking occurs when im sad or stressed out. My head shakes back and forth like im nodding "no" really fast. It begins when I drift off to sleep. I can feel myself do it but I cant control it. I sometimes whimper or make whining sounds as if I was crying. I think have heard myself say the word no a couple of times. Does anyone know why I do this? I really want it to stop.. Im thinking I might have post-trauma stress disorder :cry:

My Husband And 8mth Old Son Shake In There Sleep. Posted: 04-05-06 15:33pm


I am not sure what this is but my husband and 8 month old son do the same thing as soon as I wake either of them they stop. My husband says he doesn't know he is doing it. I would like to also know what this is because now that I see my son doing it also it worries me that this is something that has been passed down to him from my husband. You know something that is hereditary.
