I Told Someone I'm Pregnant Posted: 03-06-06 09:14am
Thank you everybody for all the good
advice...I know I had to tell someone so I
called my brother's girlfriend...She is
really nice and she promised not to tell
anyone until I told them and she said she
would come with me to tell my mom and dad.
She doesn't have classes this afternoon
so she is gonna take me to the clinic.
I'm still really scared to tell my
parents.....Not because they are gonna be
violent or anything....But more because I
know they will really be disappointed that
I had sex and got pregnant.

So what if they are dissappointed that you
got pregnant...
Make them proud of you for doing the right
thing afterwards, and if you keep the baby
then make your parents proud of your for
being a good parent yourself. Make them
proud of your for learning from your
experience.

We know how scary it is when you first
tell your parents, but if they react badly
at first, they wont be like that forever.
They'll need some time to come to terms
with the news and accept it. They might
cry or yell, just keep in mind it will get
better and they will come round to the
idea of you being pregnant after a while,
and probably end up excited and looking
forward to being grandparents. They will
still love you and be there for you.
Goodluck!
