I had my daughter nearly 2 years ago and
no one has offered me an explanation to
why when my waters broke they where just
about all blood! I am talking major
amounts. I went to hospital as soon as
they broke they put me on the monitor and
all wwas great with the baby and 9 hours
later she was born.
Does anyone know why there would have been
so much blood - it was not a hemorrage.
Teh nurses called it a show - I was under
the understanding that a show was a small
amount of blood in the waters!

Hi..I also had a lot of blood too...It was
"show" I even called the hospital because
I was scared. Everytime I would pee after
that there was even more blood...So you
can imagine that I too thought something
was wrong...But anyhow the doctor told me
that it was perfectly normal and that some
women just have more "show" than
others...You see everything was fine after
