Headaches Causing Severe Shooting Pain Behind the Right Eye Posted: 03-08-06 00:14am
Hi I am 21 yrs old and for the last
couple of days I have been experiencing
some really bad headaches on the right
side of my head. I have really sharp
pains and the worst thing is that my right
eye hurts a lot!! I also get a really
sharp pain on my eye. My eyes feel very
tired almost like if they were very
heavey. I’m very worried.
The pain gets worse wheneverI move my head
fast, mostly forwards or backwards, or
walk or when I lean down. I get this
severe shooting pain starting on the top
right, inside of my head down behind my
right eye into the sinuses behind my right
nostril.
Please can anyjbody help me. This is not
the fistr time it happens. About a year
and a half ago I got an mri and cat scan
but I had nothing. The doctor told me it
was the pituitary gland because I was
still developing but this time the pain
has gotten a worser? Is it still the same
and when will I stop developing? (this
might sound like a dumb question)
You can visit your ophthalmologist to
check your eyes, especially the right one.
For now, you can take some analgesics to
help modify the pain.
