For several months I wake up with
completely numb hands - usually the one on
top (while sleeping on my side) this is
so uncomfortable that I have to shake my
hand briskly in order to get the
circulation going to go back to sleep. My
blood pressure has always been lower than
normal - 90's over 57-62.
I don’t understand how numbness in the
hand can wake you up; it is usually pain
that alerts the body from sleep. It is
possible that your sleeping disorder is
caused by something else, not by numbness
ih the hand. You to visit your doctor for
a detailed examination and for a referral
to a specialist regarding your trouble
sleeping.
