My mom said that if she's not here by friday (my appointment) that I could ask to be induced, especially if she's (dr.) on call for the weekend. Also if she thinks the baby is going to be big. That happened to her (yeah that was 24 years ago, things have probably changed) when she was preg. With me. So with any luck I can be induced. I'm not getting my hopes up because I see a lot of the girls on here having trouble getting their doctors to induce! She can't stay in there forever! (can she?!)

At least ask to have your membranes stripped that might send you into natural labor thats what im doing next week at my appt.

That sex endources labor. It make labor faster and makes the baby come faster. Lol.

I dont believe sex makes labor faster I wasnt allowed sex with my second cause of complications and my labour was about 2hrs 10 mins etc!!

I guess i'm just dreading the appointment tomorrow more than anything. I hate being checked. Tho i'm curious to see if i'm dialated. Last tuesday my cervix was beginning to soften. But that shouldn't matter because I know when I go into labor they check periodically, not just once a week.
I've heard sex helps get you started, but i've heard it's also an old wives tale....And I don't want anything to do with sex at this point lol. If it were a fact and helped, i'd suck it up and go for it....But i'll see what the doc says tomorrow.

haha nope not yet. Yesterday I noticed my throat was getting sore, and today its awful, so I am sure she will come now that I am getting a cold or something. The last two days though i've been feeling really crappy with contractions and tummy pains and cramps and such...So I am just waiting and seeing. But I know better then to get my hopes up...Hehe.
