Worried About HIV/AIDS

PLEASE HELP!!

I have been w/ my husband 7 years (faithfully), but before him I had several unprotected partners. I am sooooo nervous that I may have HIV and worst of all ruin HIS life.

Because of my husband's job he has to be tested at least once a year and it comes back Negative. But I am still worried. I know I should get tested but I just need an opinion. I am soo ashamed of what I did before I met my husband, and now I feel like I may never get over it.

I read that swollen glands are a symptom. I have had one swollen neck gland for years now, but the dr does not seem to show concern, just says "as long as your aware." My gland never hurts unless I smoke to much or my allergies act up (but it is more of a little discomfort than pain) Otherwise they do not bother me. I have had a tonsil infection years ago and one is still larger than the other but I am not sure if my tonsil problems began before or after.

Other symptoms I have are aches and I feel I always need to stretch. I thought it was the way I sleep. Recently my leg and knee began hurting.
I feel tired after work and usually take a 45 minute nap is that considered a symptom?

I am also sometimes short of breath, but I do smoke.
I chew on my cheeks when I am nervous leaving them irritated sometimes. Could this be Thrush?

I am soooo nervous, PLEASE HELP!! I NEED AN OPINION!! I feel like I am going CRAZY with this. What are my chance??

Take it easy! Calm down! There is nothing to be really concerned about. And most importantly, there is nothing to be ashamed of. According to these reported symptoms, it doesn't seem that you have AIDS. You can freely request an HIV-test without any fear or shame. Your general practitioner can order a blood test, or you can visit a local community clinic for the test.
