My doctor isn't on call this weekend unfortunately, but if I don't go into labor before monday i'm getting induced. I have to call in at 5:30 monday morning. I hope she's here before monday, but I *really* don't want to have her on sunday....It's my hubby's nephew's birthday and I can't stand the kid! I guess I can't be choosey tho, that's just what I prefer :)
she thinks it's a pretty big baby tho....Which kinda scares me. I hope she's wrong!!! Well...That's my latest update.

Lol tigres.
My hubby and I are both hoping she doesn't have to share it with that brat! Speaking of which I should wrap his present just in case I go into labor. My hubby had me get everything ready and set it near the front door just in case my doctor decided to induce me today (he's very nervous, can you tell? Lol) he wanted to be sure everything was in order so he could bring it all to the hospital. At first I didn't want to have a c-section, but now it doesn't sound like a bad idea after hearing some of these stories!
If the baby is too big that's what's going to end up happening. My mom doesn't seem to think she's gonna go over 8lbs. I sure hope she's right!!!

I do too, I don't even want to think about giving birth to something more than eight lbs. For myself i'm hoping for somewhere for 6.5 to 7.5 and not an ounce more!!

Hopeful, having a c-section isn't all that bad, I had one and it wasn't horrible. However, the only thing was that I couldnt' really get rid of the pooch right above the scar. But it was just a little pooch since I didnt' carry my baby to term.

But just so you know it's painful but it's not worse than pushing out a baby. (or so ive been told.) I haven't had a vag delivery so I really can't compare the two. But the c-section wasn't that bad.

I agree with sonflower they really arent that bad I mean would you rather b in pain for lots of hours with no baby or couple days with a baby? Plus the pooch goes away it forms because they pull the suters tight so you skin heals and the skin is really tight but over time it regrows and lets loose so you can get rid of the pooch. My mom had one 3 years ago and has looked awesome for like the past year and half (my hubbys friends think shes hot its so gross) plus with a c u get better pain killers for afterwards. I just dont want one this time cuz I wouldnt b able to lift macy til my 2 week appt. And u cant really explain 2 a 13 month old y mommy cant hold ya.

Thanks for the input on c-sections ladies. And that's good thinking about not wanting a c-section with liam...That is probably something that would have slipped my mind, not being able to pick up the 13 month old (if I were in your shoes that is)
jennie, I probably did jinx myself! I'm good at that. Bring on the 10 pounder!

As for sunflower and macysmama, you guys are lucky I think. I've been asking for a little sister and my parents still keep telling me no. I'm stuck with 3 brothers. I guess that's life. Tho I used to dress my little brother up and put make up on him....I tried to make him my sister. I'm still looking for those pictures too, because he's now 19 years old and it would be a lot of fun to see his reaction, becuase he was too little to remember. I would just hope I live through the moment....He grew up...Way up. He's a big boy now lol.

Good luck hun, have a fast and safe delivery. Hopefullly you do it on your own, but if not monday is not too far--right. And hopefully no c/section, but seriously its not that bad. I felt a lot better after it than I thought I would. I had already had 2 vaginal delivery's, and the c/section had its good points too. First one being---not all those hours of labor, and exhaustion like with the other 2. I had very long labors--so when he came right out it was a pleasure, and the pain wasnt too bad at all--3 days I was back to normal chasin 2 and pamperin the babe.

My prayers and thoughts are with you--as always.
