i am 26 years old and my cycle is on a
regular 24-26 day cycle. my last 1st day
of my period was on February 7th. i have
taken 2 tests and they both come out
negative. should i go and have a test at
the clinic or should i wait a few days to
see if i get my period just in case it is
stress related. i am not sure if i am
nervous or what but i get butterfly
feelings in my stomach which make me feel
sick. I am not sure what to do please help
me!

According to your data you should have had
your period around the 3rd of March; your
period is about a week late. A late period
is the first sign of a possible pregnancy.
It is an unreliable sign, however, and
needs to be confirmed. If pregnancy tests
results are consistently negative, you are
probably not pregnant. Reasons for lack of
menstruation can be numerous but most
often are related to physical stress
and/or a hormonally active ovarian cyst.
You can go immediately to your
gynecologist for an ultrasound examination
of the ovaries.
