I just started taking ortho lo. I am on
the first week of my second pack. I have
been having slight leg pains, that I
attributed to a change in my exercise
routine. However, today I noticed a
purple spot on my tongue. I researched
this, and came to the conclusion that it
formed becasue of poor blood circulation.
I guess my question is, can this be from
the birth control pills? Can poor blood
circulation contribute to blood clots? I
am very worried, and I do have a family
history of clots. Any help will be
appreciated. Thanks,
kelli

Actually yes...Birth control pills can
slightly make your chance of clots
higher...I've read it from the flyer that
comes with the birth control pills since I
am taking ortho lo too..Maybe you can
consider taking other birth control other
than pills...Try iud
