Might be the "mucus plug"
it is like real thick snotty goop. Sometimes tinged with blood---though mine never had blood in them. Just snotty stuff, and always came out earlier than normal. Usually comes out approx 3 weeks or less from birth. It is a plug that prevents infections from reaching the baby.

Yes, I know with my daughter I lost it end of august and I did not have her until dec 1. I was due around the middle of nov.

I also dilated early with my kids too. So that could explain why mine came so early--she was the earliest though. The boys over a month before I was due I lost it.

I'm 33 weeks too and when I look at my undies after using the potty it looks like I blew my nose in them!! Haha...But seriously...It's gross, but normal. My Dr. Said it only goes away after you have the baby!! Which sucks!!

I was due 3 days ago and I haven't lost anything.....Except my dignity after being checked to see if I dialated. So what happens if you don't lose the plug?

Lol...I hear that about the exam!! I always feel violated!! It's just me though....That's the only way to really explain what's always in my panties...

I guess you'd lose it during labor......

a lot of people don't notice when they lose it. You might have already lost it and just didn't notice.

Hopefulmjz---some pple loose them in birth--and like above poster noted--you could have lost it and missed it. Although with mine there was no way to miss them. I would wipe, wipe and wipe and it would still be coming.
