Did I Swallow Liquid into my Lungs? Posted: 03-13-06 11:19am
Sorry this is probably the dumbest
question you've ever had but I'm kind of
worried.
OK i was in the movies and a sip of coke
went down the wrong way, but i didn't
cough because it was really quiet and it
can be annoying but after about 5 minutes
i didn't feel the need to cough anymore.
Now I'm worried that i have coke in my
lungs or something, which is worrying
because its sticky and acidic and
whatnot...
Should i have cause for concern? should i
see a doctor? would the liquid have got
into my lungs? if so what can be done
about it? my chest does feel abit funny
but its probably me just imagining it.
Also it does feel strange when i swallow
but i could be imagining that too.
You definitely haven’t gotten Coke in
your lungs. If this had happened, you
would have made such a great scene you
wouldn't have worried what you looked
like. You probably don’t need a doctor
but if you continue feeling funny, you
might ease your anxiety by visiting a GP.
