Is Anyone Out There? Please Talk to Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted: 03-16-06 01:31am
Hello. I don't know where to start. I
wonder if someone can tell me what could
be wrong. When I was around 3 or 4, I
started seeing an image of a woman. She
wears what appears to be a black wedding
dress. She has messy hair. She always
stands by my door when I do see her. She
only spoke to me once. She said, "shhh,
it's okay." i'm afraid of her still to
this day. I dream about her, and
sometimes I believe I can feel her
presence. After many years, I was talking
to my older brother. The topic came up,
even though we had never talked about it
before. He has seen her as well. Now i'm
not sure if she is real or imagined. We
established by our ages, I was the first
to start seeing her. Now days, I stay up
all night securing the windows and doors,
cause i'm afraid of intruders. After
doing so, I think, " man they got me now,
now i'm trapped, cause I nailed the
windows shut, they tricked me." then after
that, i'm afraid she's here. What is
wrong with me? I'm now afraid of doors
and can't sleep unless I can see them.
They can't be behind me. I hate windows
as well. Please can someone help me make
sense of this. I just need a logical
explaination. Thank you for your time.

I'm going to go out on a limb and be open
on this. I am certainly not going to say
that you saw nothing or tell you your nuts
as anything is possible in the universe I
suppose.
1) even if this was real, what harm has
she done to you or your brother?
2) it appears that you are harming
yourself more than she has .
Sometimes the unknown is very scary even
if it is harmless and not everthing has a
logical explanation.
Email me if you like to chat.

How old are you? This sounds very similar
to something I experienced as a child.
I used to see a pale woman in a white
sundress and a wide straw hat with a
ribbon on it (yeah, it was really
detailed). She never said anything to me,
but I too was terrified of doors and
windows, especially at night. I don't
know if the two were related. I would
experience a kind-of paranoia everytime I
was alone, and I wouldn't even sleep in my
bed.
I eventually "grew out of it" I guess.
Still interesting that the experiences are
so similar! Very interesting.
Personally, I think you should talk to
someone about it. Not that you're nuts or
anything, but it can be very therapeutic
to talk to someone with experience with
neuroses and anxiety. Let me know,
though, if you find out anything about it.

Since you saw her and your brother also
saw her before you were talking to him
about it there is your proof, I dont want
to get into a theological debate I do
believe and that works for me but like you
the things I have seen or experienced all
my life has lead to some of my fears now
and my thearapist is teling me I am crazy
because of some of my stories but anyway
you must decide for yourself as I have as
to wheather they are real or not and then
if you are still in the same house make
your piece with her you can email me if
you want to hear any of my exp. Or if you
have any more questions just remember that
no matter what there is a higher power and
it loves us, that is just my opinions
please dont be offended by anything I say
if you do not believe in a higher power
love and light
to all

Is it possible she's an actual person?
Maybe a relative or a friend that you saw
when you were little.
Or a vivid dream...Taking that your
brother saw her too, possibly you both saw
a movie or a situation that scared you.

I also reccommend seeing a therapist
because it seems like this is starting to
effect your daily life. Don't let it ruin
your quality of life. You may be able to
talk it out and figure out where this
image comes from and a behavioral
therapist could help you get rid of this
fear.
Another weird option is demons/ghosts
whatever you believe. Of course I don't
want to put that out there but it is
possible I think.

The thing is I believe in demons and such.
I know she wasn't a relative of any kind,
or because of a movie. I also believe in
god with all my heart. I have severe
anxiety and depression. I never told
anyone about her, cause I didn't know my
brother has seen her as well. The doctors
call this shared psychotic disorder. One
person being the primary and the other
being the submissive. Since I was the
first to see her, I guess I would be the
primary. The last time I saw her was 6
years ago. Now i'm just afraid of seeing
her. The other thing is I sometimes hear
a voice (a mans voice) call my name, but
no one is there. Everyone does this, I
think. The other day, I heard a voice (a
womans voice) ask if she could come in and
felt the door touch me. ( I was in the
bathroom at my brothers work). I pushed
the door shut and said not right now,
assuming it was my niece or her mother. I
came out of the bathroom and said, " man
guys, I can't even go to the bathroom in
peace, next time just wait till I get out,
then you can go in." they all looked at me
as if I was crazy. None of them came by
the door. I think it all can be explained
by saying that the brain does this at
times to keep it functioning properly. I
think. I use to go to delusional states
where I believed things were all in my
room watching me, let's just say I thought
they were the characters from my dreams
coming out at me. Alright, so maybe I was
in fear cause I have terrible nightmares
every night. Now days, I have nailed my
windows shut, and I feel like someone has
tricked me into doing this, and at times I
think the neighbors are all watching me.
Is that normal? What is normal? We will
never know. Everyone is different. Well,
enough of that. Thank you for replying.
Hope everything goes well for you.
