The doctor was very pleased with her, said she's very healthy.
It's the most amazing feeling being a mom, I love it!! Thank goodness i've got my hubby. He's off work for awhile, so he's gonna be taking care of us. More good news is that I get good drugs. Lol.

Congratulations! That's fantastic.

Ok, now she's sleeping so I have time to type with both hands.
I went in to the hospital at 6:00 monday morning to be induced...So once they started that I had some killer contractions so I thought she would be born sometime in the early afternoon. (the epidural saved my life, I swear!! Lol) once I finally dialted to 9 (there was only a little rim so almost 10) they decided I could start pushing as her head was right there perfectly postitioned....I started pushing on each contraction, then they'd check and she went back up. (this was around 9 or 9:30) so I pushed a little and we waited then finally the doctor (not mine, but one I knew who is awesome) decided we'd need to do the c-section. So they preped me for surgery and off we went. About 10 minutes after being in the .O.R I finally had my baby girl. She was born with a head .F.U.L.L of hair. Not just a head covered in hair, but it's thick and long. I hope you can see it in the pics, but I think they have her with the little cap on. They took the pics right after she had her bath (but before I even got to hold her :( )
they told me the pictures would be up and ready approx. 72 hours after our dismissal. Which we were dismissed this morning about 10. I hope they are up before because i'm curious to see them! :p
i'll definately enjoy my high of being a mother, i've waited a long time for this. I just hope my high lasts longer than "normal" :)
my hubby has *never* held a newborn in his life because they are so small and he's afraid. Well he holds her all the time now, feeds her changes her he's just wonderful with her....So that's a big relief. So far he's been super helpful. Lets hope his high lasts too!! Lol

I'm so glad you and your man are doing good with your new baby girl!! I can't wait to have mines! One question, was the feeling of seeing her for the first time when she came out waaay over whelming or was it just exciting?!? I'm so anxious to experience the feeling of seeing something that me and the love of my life made together!!!

i'm not sure how to explain how I felt the moment I saw her, I was sooooo tired. But here goes :)
once I finally got to my room and they brought her to me it was about 3am. It was amazing to finally see what was pokin' and kickin' at me from inside. I was very happy when they brought her to me the nurse got her out of the bassinet and was gonna give her to my mom (not that I don't love my mom to death.....) but I said I would like to hold her first! So I held her for a very long time, and then I got to feed her. The next day is when it really hit me, and it felt even more amazing. I don't think i'd say it was overwhelming, but just a huge feeling of happiness.....Hmmm it's hard to describe lol but it was a great feeling, and still is. You're gonna be in heaven once your little one gets here! Believe me, I sure was. Good luck with everything.

Thanks girl!! I have a feeling i'm going to miss her kickin and poking me everyday all day!! Lol....

I'll prob. Be a little selfish with mine too! Lol...It'll be prying her out of her daddy;s arms that'll be the hardest!!
