I'm thinking abbyroad is less creative
than just plain unimaginative. How many
kids have to be named after songs? We get
it already. You like the band.

Unless you are the one plagued with the
name. My mom was a hippie and used hippie
names for her children *gag* it was
obvious who my siblings were. Willow
jade, anyone?

Why do you wanna name your kids after
streets? You can pick unique names
without having them sound just... Dumb?
I'm not trying to be rude but thats kinda
pushing it.

Penny .Lane would be ok, as the first and
middle name but not the first names.
But abbyroad is just dumb. Anything with
the word "road" in it... Thats just lame
but like I said oh well bc u dont care ;)
good luck with trying for your baby.

Abby, I *love* the .Beatles. They were a
fantastic band who made fantastic music,
even if some of their songs *had* to be
describing their acid trips. I can think
of no other explanation for 'i am the
walrus'...
Anyway, I still wouldn't name any of my
kids after one of their songs, or a street
for that matter.
I bet your kid ends up being called
'.Lenin'... :p

Let me explain something about the
attitude of americans (i can comment
safely because I am haitian/dominican
first and american second). Americans
have unteachable spirits. They can not
be taught anything and don't like to
believe that they can be or ever have been
wrong. So instead of accepting a
correction about something, they become
upset and ask; "who are you to correct
me?"
don't anyone jump down my throat for this
because I can be the same way sometimes.
For the most part though, I would rather
be educated on something that i've done
incorrectly than become defiant and appear
uneducated.

i think for the most part you are right,
but I would much rather be corrected than
look like a complete fool. I also believe
I am wrong quite a bit..Lol.

I feel that you shouldnt bring a baby into
the world, unless u have a partner and u
love on another, and u both ready for a
baby, not just sleeping around to get
pregnant, also u have ur whole life ahead
of you, I mean im 2months pregnant and im
19, 20 when the baby will be born, and my
bf loved me, and now he dont wanna be with
me, he said I have to get rid if I wanna
be with him, if not he dont want me, and
well all im trying say is u dont wanna be
on ya own, like getting up on the nights,
and the baby not having father, im so
scared and I jus dont even know what to do
about my baby, so many responsibiltys and
I was so carfull, on the pill, and well
its jus so hard, but I mean if u want
baby, that much up 2 u, but isnt all fun n
games,

ashly, please listen to me .V.E.R.Y
carefully, having a child right now would
not only be the most selfish thing you
could do, but also the worst thing you
could do at this point in your life. I am
19, my husband is 21, I became pregnant on
birthcontrol pills, we now have an 8 month
old son, my husband is a college student,
we are on food stamps, and medicade, and
just barely making it by.... B.A.R.E.L.Y!
I know that you are not in the same
situation as us... But yours sounds like
it would be harder! You just think you
want a child... It is only normal for a
women to have the urge in her body to want
a child, but that does not mean that you
should act on that urge. Raising a baby
is the most difficult thing I have ever
ever ever done. I also raised my little
brother and loved it, but... Having my
own child is nothing like that was. I
know that if this is set in your mind, you
are probably going to do it no matter what
any of us say, but the least I could do is
try to talk you out of it. Some days, I
just want to be alone, to relax, but I
can't, because I have a son who depends on
me all of the time. It's not all
happiness and loving to have a child, it's
stressful and irratating also. Don't you
want to live your life? Get married, be
able to give your hudband your first
child? Be able to live life with your
husband just the two of you for a while?
Girl .T.H.I.N.K!! Please! I love my
baby.. But if I could change things, he
wouldn't be here for a few years. If you
need something to love that will love you
back, get a puppy!! Do you honestly not
think that bringing a child into the world
at this point in your life is selfish?
That child could have a much better life
if he had a mother and father, a stable
home with a descent income, and things
like that. Do you not agree? I'm sure
all of this has already been preached to
you... I didn't read the other posts, but
im sure. Just remember, that it is only
normal for you to have the urge to bring a
child into the world... I think that .God
but that inside of us.... But he didn't
intend on us acting on it until things
were right for the baby. Think about it,
and then decide on rather or not you want
to give a child an okay life or a
wonderful life! Good luck with whatever
happens and if you do decide to get
pregnant, when you look back on this I
promise you will wish that you would have
listened!
