Loss of Sex Drive And Spotting On Microgynon30...! Posted: 03-18-06 04:47am
Hi, I am 23 years old, I have been on
microgynon 30 on and off since I was 16,
but steadily for the last 4 years (i have
been with my partner that long and we are
getting married in 4 months). I've never
really had any problems with it, but have
noticed in the last few months I have had
quite severe spotting while taking it and
I have also had a serious drop in my
sexual desire!! My partner and I have
always had a fantastic sex life, both with
very high sex drives. But just now I
don't seem to be interested in sex atall,
I know it isn't my partner or any problems
between us, our relationship is great and
he is wonderful and gorgeous! I am
worried however that this might cause
problems between us as I am hardly ever in
the mood for sex and my partner is. I
have also been feeling quite down and a
bit depressed the last few months, not all
the time, but certain days, I just don't
want to do anything and feel so low I
can't even talk! I just wondered if this
could all be because i've been on this
pill for so long, and if anyone else has
experienced anything like this? Any help
would be very much
appreciated......Please!!!??? Sarah-kate

I don't know about the bleeding. But
depression can defintely effect your sex
drive, it can kill a sex drive for a
person that used to have a really high
one.
