Are symtpoms of MS and Prostate Cancer similar? Posted: 03-20-06 08:45am
I have lived with Multiple Sclerosis for
the last 10 years. There is currently a
Prostate Cancer awareness campaign in the
UK, and listening to the symptons on TV
this morning, the bladder issues are very
similar to those I have been experiencing
for the last few years.
Is it just that the MS & Prostate Cancer
symptons are alike or should I go and get
tested by my GP.
Thanks

Multiple sclerosis and prostate cancer
have nothing in common. Prostate cancer
has symtpoms very similar to benign
prostate hyperplasia, which is very common
disorder in males after 50 (frequent
urination, difficult urination, etc.).
Nonetheless, you might go to an urologist
to examine your prostate.
