Blood In Stool?? Ever Normal? Posted: 03-20-06 15:15pm
I have been trying to have a baby for
about 2 years. I am irruglar with my
period. It comes and goes as it pleases.
My 1st question is are my chances of
getting pregant the same as people with a
normal period? 2nd one is it seems
sometimes I get blood in my stool more
then when I get my period..Most of the
time it happens while I have my period..
Is this ever nomarl? Could this have
something to do with me not being able to
get pregant? Or could it be even
something worse?

if you get constipated you could get anal
fissures (tears in your bum) that bleed,
so could account for blood in your stool.
You really should have that checked out
though, because blood in the stool could
be something very serious if it's not due
to fissures.
If your period is irregular, and you're
having trouble getting pregnant for a
year, it's time to talk to a doctor like a
fertility specialist. First .I'd get
the blood in the stools thing checked out,
and then see a fertility specialist.

Queenbee said it well. The only thing I
would add is that if the blood is fresh
and red, that's not abnormal nor probably
anything to worry about. But if it is old
or dark, you should see a doctor
immediately.
