There is a thin piece of skin - roughly 1
millimetre thick - which attaches the
glans to the foreskin. It occurs some way
down inside so one can retract some of the
foreskin and partially expose the glans
(slight mobility) but no further. It has
been noticed for some months but nothing
was thought of it. But then 'it' caused
pain! The stupid doctor/midwife in
childbirth failed to spot it. Felt like
using the knife, diy, seppuku style. Show
gp? Operation needed? Nooo,
proposterous!

I can understand why something like this
might not have been spoted at birth, a
baby boy's penis is so small and soft it
would be hard to tell what was "extra"
besides the normal foreskin.
If there is a problem now, talk to your gp
and ask if you can get a refferral to a
urologist who can then help you figure out
exactly how to treat it.
