I've been havin contractions earlier this morning with the intervals of 10 mins but then it declined to further intervals of 30 mins?
Could anyone share there experience with contractions does it really have to progress coz I dont really wanna go to the hospital just to be sent home again :( its just so stressful I just had bout 3 hours sleep in total last night coz it gets really uncomfy and cramps are like when you're havin ur period.
Never reached this stage (36 2) coz I was induced at 30 wks with k due to ruptured membrane and foetal distress :( she's fine now anyway bless her. Any advise would be much appreciated

Contractions
Hi. Bless your heart! This is the hard time, huh? Not knowing what to do. My contractions started on fri morning and they were 5 min apart and then jumped to 30 and then got even more whacky. This went on and on. Finally, my water broke the next night at 3am and I knew. The contractions progressively got worse all saturday but never got closer together until that night right before my water broke, at which time they also got more painful. Doc told me to come in when they were five min apart. Well, they never got 5 min apart. They would be 5, then 3, then 8 min apart. That is close enough when they do that. Right now, all you can do is wait it out and try to keep your mind off the pain. I watched christmas vacation and cut out birth announcements to ease my mind. Just know that you are not alone and all this craziness will be well worth it, but if you are uncertain at any time, go on to the hospital. Girl, it is always better safe than sorry!
Best of luck to you and your little angel.

Hi becky! Thanks for the advise:hugs: I appreciate it as of the moment I could still withstand the pain and I know my pain threshold not that strong. Pains are still inconsistent but as soon as my waters broke i'll go str8 to the hospital.
Thanks!
