Ive heard abs regenerate muscle alot
faster than other groups and their one of
the few/if not only muscle group that can
be worked every day...Is this true?

Hello
yes I believe this may be true... It is
bad to do your arms and legs on
consecutive days because they need time to
repair themselves. However working your
abs etc is not as damaging when u do it
every day because they are your core
muscles and you use them every day anyway.
I found that once I started working out
on my abs my general strength increased
ten fold!!
I am no personal trainer or fitness
professional though, so maybe someone who
knows a bit more might be of more
assistance??

Yes, it is a small twitch muscle group,
like your calves. They can be trained
multiple times a week. I would train
them every other day. They're still a
muscle group that needs rest. Remember,
just because you're not doing crunches,
doesn't mean you're not working your
abdominal region. Squats, dead lifts,
running ... All work your core. Keep
your lower back in mind too.
