My Wife Wants a Baby But I've Had the Snip! Posted: 03-22-06 13:18pm
Hi guys. New here - hello!
Here's the thing - I had the snip 8 years
ago, after my second kid (my wifes third)
and now we're thinking that maybe we'd
like to have just one more... We're more
settled now, and it'd be nice, etc.
Anyone know if it's possible to have sperm
extracted from somewhere? Or would I
have to go the whole reversal hog, and
then have the snip again. I'm not too
keen on that idea...
Conception probably wouldn't be a problem
- one of the reasons I had the snip so
young (23, I think) is that my wife is
practically a fertility goddess - she'd
fall pregnant if we just didn't use a
condom once just after her giving
birth!
Anyhow, i'd appreciate some idea of what
we can do if we decide to go for it!

Maybe you can talk to your doctor about a
vasectomy reversal?
Here's a link that tells about what that
entails and also about sperm retrieval if
the reversal isn't what you want to do.
