I have completely regular periods, but I
don't know if I ovulate.... Why aren't my
periods irregular if i'm not ovulating?

Hi,
i figured out that I ovulate about 12 days
after my period, but I wouldn't know this
if I didn't check my cervical mucus
(yuck). Maybe you ovulate sooner than
the 14 day mark too. I don't know
though, there is a possibility that you
don't ovulate, but check your mucus. If
it is like egg whites then you are
ovulating, but if it is sticky, thick and
really white then you know that you are
not ovulating. I would suggest checking
your mucus around 10 days after the start
of your period and keep doing this until
about 16 days after.
I hope that helps.

Hi
sometimes when you ovulate, you might feel
a little bit wet, but the best way to know
if you are ovulate is to stick a finger in
your vagina and feel the mucus. You will
know if it is clear and like egg whites,
which will be the time you can hopefully
make a baby.
Hope that helps.

Yes it definately does help.... But i'm
really new at this and I can never really
tell the difference in the mucus..... It
all looks the same to me...?... Like I
know that I had my period on the 2nd of
this month, around the 15th I had this
like white pasty mucus, and right now i'm
supposed to start my period in 8 days and
I am having a like clearish watery
mucus... But I don't know what all of
this means.... Any advice?

Not to long ago I posted to see if
everyone got the eggwhite discharge or
could it be different. I got some posts
back saying not everyone may have the
thick discharge. So maybe you are
ovulating and you just don't know it.
Have you tried the ovulation sticks? I
was going to purchase them, they are
around $25, but I thought if I used them
then I would be crazy waiting to take a
hpt.

hi,
clear watery mucus is defintely a sign
that you are ovulating. Tell your lover
that its time to have some fun!!!! I
really hope a baby will come your way
soon. Remember that you only ovulate for
24 hours, so tonight would definitely be
the night to try for a baby.
Good luck

Smurfsgirl - you can get opk tests really
cheap off of the internet.
Saveontests.Com, early-pregnancy-tests.Com
are two that offer them for around $1 each
with free shipping.

No problem. You can get regular pee on a
stick type or the dip strips. The poas
ones are a bit more expensive. I am
using the dip strips right now. The are
supposed to be pretty accurate.

I'm so confused..... Could someone
please explain the different types of
mucus and what they tell? B/c I thought
that clear, watery mucus was a sign of
ovulation, but it was only 8 days before
my period and that's 20 days after my
cycle begins. Is it possible to ovulate
that close to your period? I bought a
opk this week and it says that i'm
supposed to use it between the 9th and
16th of april. Wish me luck! I'm so
scared... I thought I was doing great
since I am having completely regular
periods, but I have been reading alot and
I am finding out that just because I am
having normal periods, it doesn't
necessarily mean that i'm ovulating. So
i'm nervous. I don't want to find out
that i'm not. *sigh*
