I am 39 weeks and havent experience any braxton hicks. I may get it, just not know it. It seems like everyone gets it... Is there something wrong with me that I don't feel any? Anyone who doesnt feel it either? And, how does braxton hicks feel like? Your response is appreciated. Thanks!

Braxton hicks contractions are a tightening of your uterus. They are 'practice' contractions. You might be getting them and not even feel them. There is nothing wrong with not feeling them. There is nothing wrong with not having them.

Have a happy, safe delivery!

I think your first pregnancy you don't feel them, but the next time you know what they are. Kind of like when the you first kind of thought the baby was moving...Or was it gas? Second time through, you know. ;)

I think I got bh yesterday. Not really sure. It just felt like pressure. I was pretty uncomfortable but it didn't hurt or anything. Just like everything tummy got tight.

Do you know that we have bh during our entire pregnancy? The tech told me that when they were taking my us. She told me a lot of stuff like why they measure this and that and why to look at this and that. While she was looking around in there she pointed out a dip in the uterus and told me that it was a braxton hicks contraction. I asked her why I was having one so early in my pregnancy. She told me that even though I can't feel them pregnant wemon have them all during the pregnancy. It's not until we get bigger we feel them.
