Well, like all potential teen mothers, you
have three options.
First, abortion. If you are three months
or less, you can have an abortion in most
states. You will probably need
counselling for that, though. It's not
easy. Make sure that you are absolutely
certain that abortion is what's right for
you, if you are considering it.
Second, adoption. This is, obviously,
the act of carrying the baby, giving
birth, and then giving the baby up. This
is also hard. But if you are pro-life
but also not ready to be a mother at
sixteen, adotpiuon will probably be for
you. Open adoption means that you can
have an open relationship with the
adoptive parents you choose, and also
potentially have ancontact with your baby
after adoption.
Third, you can become a teen mother.
This is, like the others, hard. But I
get the idea that that isn't what you're
considering? You seem to be keen on
college and just being a kid, so I suggest
you weigh your options.
Either way, you must tell your mom.
Asap. There's nothing more important
than that first thing. Next, you have to
get an appointment with an ob/gyn.
Good luck, honey.

Great post tayziah! I absolutely agree
with everything said above.
You really do need to tell your mother if
you are planning on carrying this baby.
If you are planning an abortion please do
your research (on the clinic, not finding
a bunch of false pro-life propaganda) or
get a referral from your doctor.
Even if you don't want to tell your mother
right away, you need to tell someone who
can get you help. You need to get
pre-natals and medical attention right
away. Go to a planned parenthood or
another free clinic, ask them what your
options are and how to go about getting
counselling and pre-natals, your mother
does not have to know about these
appointments. There is even a chance that
they may be able to provide a counsellor
to come with you to tell your mom and dad.
Good luck!

Hun im in your exzact postion but I have
just told my parents. I told them about a
week ago and they took it fine..
Obviously I dont know your parents so I
dont know how they going to react, I was
absolutly petrified wen I had to tell my
mum but my bro and his gf had a baby at
such a young age so I knew she would be
supportive its just hard to get the words
out... I cried when I told mum.. "no
idea why" I think it was just so hard ..
She was shocked but she was so proud of me
to think I could tell her... When I told
her she thought I was a virgin but
obviously... You need to tell your
parents and do it as soon you can... Im
sure your parents will help ... Just be
honest with them thats all you can do
sweetie..
