I just had a question. Does anyone know the difference in a standard epidural and a walking epidural. I plan on having one and I didnt know the difference. Thanks.

I'm not sure of the exact terms but they can either give you an epidural with a constant drip which will leave you numb for much longer or proceed with seperate stages od the medication in increments when you feel you need to have some more medication. This is much more preferable to most women because if you deliver vaginally you can be up and walking in less then 6 hours without any numbing or tingling.
