Believe In Tarot Cards?

I enjoy them occasionally for entertainment. Kind of like reading the horrorscope for me. I enjoy it and believe a little but as to placing my trust in the cards as a way to decide what to do with my life, I wouldn't do it.

If the pregnancy tests are saying you are not pregnant, trust them over the cards. If you think the tests are wrong and you might possibly be preggers, see a doctor and find out for certain. But don't base what you do or don't do based on what cards are saying.

I had my cards read for my at my grad party on the night I graduated and it's been dead on so far. I never actually believed in it and when I had it done I was still feeling skeptical cuz it told me that I was gonna meet, the next month, a blonde haired guy with blue eyes that I would fall for but nothing more than friendship would be able to come of it. And that happened, I met my friend's gorgeous cousin and I was sooooo into him for the longest time but we can only be friends cuz he lives on the other side of the country. Then it said I would meet a shorter brown haired man with brown eyes a few years later who I would end up with. And now i'm with my boyfriend of 13 months now who has brown hair, brown eyes and is shorter than I am. The only thing that's weird about taht for me is taht I never liked guys with brown hair or brown eyes before. And especially not someone who was shorter than me. The cards also told me of a male relative who was close to me was slowly dying and would die in 3 years time. And my grampa just died two months ago of lung cancer he's had for like 2 years or something.... So I dunno... But to me, that seems believeable.

This is not technically about tarot cards, but it's kind of related. Of course, it's probable that this is all very untrue, but it's still scary!

My bf told me there was a lady in the town he grew up in that peope would go to to get their fortunes told. She was apparently so popular that cars would line up for blocks just waiting to get in to see her. Anyway, one night, a car full of girls showed up (4 of them, I think), and the lady told the fortunes of all the girls but one. She refused to tell that girl's fortune. She instead gave an envelope to one of the other girls and told her not to open it until the next morning. On the way home, the girls were in an accident and the one girl who's fortune was not told died. When the other girl opened the envelope the next day, there was a piece of paper inside that said, "i can not tell her about her future because she doesn't have one."

that's just incredibly freaky. Lol i'd never heard it before he told me, but I suspect it is possibly one of those urban legends. *shrug*

I know what your all say'n.. Like I said im kinda if'y on to. But come on out of all those cards eveything was dead on!? How is that possible? It makes you think about the "un-known" and if it really is there. Seriously I have a doctors appointment thursday.. What would we all think if I found out I was preg.? I know the test said neg but why is evrything happening to me? Why do I have the smytoms? Ok maybe it just could be because my mind is set on it. But I just need to point some things out that are making me think she could be right. I went to see her a few years ago. She said I would fall in love with a boy with lives about 50 miles away in a black car.. Well im getting married to that boy in a black car nov 17. He lived 55 miles away and moved to my city and now and now were starting our life together?? Wierd? I think so. Anyways I just thought i'd ask if anyone believed or had any stories to back her up. I have one but look at it. Is it really possible????? What do you think?

When I found out I was preggers my sister in law read the cards and it told us that I was haveing a boy and a girl,

so all I could think of was a hemraphradite (sp)

I went to a psychic, palm reader, tarot cart reader - my husband was in one room and I was in another.

We were both told very opposite things would happen. Since that time (10 years ago) nothing, not one single thing either of the 'psychics' said has come true.

We didn't have twins (his). I didn't get pregnant right away (mine). He didn't change his career (his). My dad didn't die within the year (mine).

My psychic was pissed at me because I wouldn't give her any information. She was fishing for stuff, like what kind of job I had and what kind of schooling I had. Whatever answers I gave her were the only things she came back at me with.

I don't believe it isn't true. But I also don't believe a real psychic would charge money by the half hour. I used to have tarot cards and you can just about read anything into it - they are highly suggestable. They can be fun though.

I don't really believe in reading the cards, stars, palms or anything like that.

Nah, it's blue. I'm not really upset bcos I always bring a scarf with me that I use to cover my belly. For some reason now that i'm this far along I seem to always be dropping some food item on top of my belly. It's like my hand to mouth coordination is suffering. Did you see that laundry detergent commercial where the preggo lady is eating ice cream and dropping it on her tummy every day? That's me. :oops:

Yup I love that one. It's cute. I can't eat without getting anything on my tummy. (ever, preggers or not.)

Guess we all have different stories. I'll keep you all posted and see what happens thursday.. If I am I will be a true believer if im not then i'm going to get a refund! Haha j/k {it was free} :)

I don't all out believe in them.. I have, however, had them done on me.. It was a while back & everything it said was happening did.. :) it was something that was done for fun.. Once you start living your life around your reading.. You will notice it will happen.. Coz its in your head.. Just do it for fun :)
