Is It Normal to Take Long Time Conceive First Baby? Posted: 03-25-06 23:00pm
I was wondering for those who had babies
already how long it took u to successfully
conceive ur first baby and when u had ur
second did it take a shorter time. Or do
u know if its normal to take longer to
have ur first? Im ttc my first baby but
its been quite awhile already with no
success. I was just wondering if its
normal or not? Thanks

It took me a year and a half to conceive
#1 with a miscarriage along the way. So
far, two and a half months into ttc #2.

It would depend on the person. Some
women get pregnant without trying,
sometimes while they are using birth
control. Some women try for years before
they get pregnant.
There's no way to predict it.
Here in england doctors won't check you
out for a problem unless you've been
trying for a year with no success, 6
months if you're over 40.
