I was on micro gynon birth control pill for about a year, I finished my pack had normal period couple day after this was 18th nov, then didnt sart aking the pill again, but hae had no period since, I have had unprotected sex though.
I took hpt on at end of dec and was negative, is it possible I am pregnant so soon after stopping pill???, I feel bloated, tired, cramping pains in abdomen, which are like im about to start period had these for week and still no period, I even have the spots I get bfore period no period though, I am also crying a lot at least bit thing and having mood swings.
Can anyone offer any advice if its pregnancy not shown on hpt or my body playing tricks on me???

Anytime you have unprotected sex, you run the risk of getting pregnant. The fact that you have not had a period yet could be because of stopping the pill, or you could in fact be pregnant.

As for the testing, some women may never get a positive result from a home pregnancy test. You could very well be pregnant, but you may not be producing enough of the pregnancy hormone (hcg) for the home pregnancy test to come out positive. Your best option would be to request a blood test to confirm/deny pregnancy from your doctor. A blood test is more reliable when it comes to picking up the hormones.

It can take a while for birth control pill to get out of your system. I have been off the pill for 18 months and still have not had a normal period. Its called post pill amanorrhea. Everyone is different though.
