Hey ladies! I'm getting a tad worried about "after" I have the baby lol. I mean, im sure its normal and all but im just kinda worried like, when do I feed it, how will I know when, how many times a day, and when do I start the baby on solids, and how do I start it on solids? Just stuff like that and I feel kind of dumb to ask because im just suppose to know these things and ./...I dont :s so advice would be great :) thanks!!!

The docs/pediatrition should be able to tell you how often how much blah blah blah...If you're real worried, try to find a mommy-baby class near you. You're not expected to just know thses things...

My mum says that you'll definitely know. She told me not to worry because the baby will definitely let you know when he/she is hungry. She also says you'll know when to start feeding them baby food because they'll still be hungry when they finish their bottle and something else about watching the tongue motion that I really don't remember.

I think that you just need to stop thinking that you won't be ready for this little skoot. I have the same feelings as you do,

i have been told that if you breast feed that it helps with the knowing when to feed the little skoot and all. But they will tell yo in the hospital when it's time to feed the baby and then just stay on that scedual when you get home....Alter it to fit your needs and life style. You know? That is what my sister did with hers. You can take parenting classes and they will help you with your skoot....Some people keep a chart on feeding and sleeping and all of that, but as soon as you get the hang of it you'll do fine. (that is what I keep thinking for me anyway.)

It's not hard to tell when the baby is hungry...He/she will let you know...Most babies will cry and/or suck on their hands, root, stick their tongues out a lot and open their mouths really wide (atleast that is what mine does)...Trust me, once you have your baby you'll see my point...Lol. But usually it's reccomended to feed your baby for the first while every 2-3 hours...And they're usually hungry by then. Don't worry your not expected to know these things! Once your baby comes the things that you thought you would be worried about seem to fall into place. You'll do just fine!

If you have anymore questions feel free to pm me.

Good advice kimmeh!! That's the one thing i'm not worried about, though. It's the bathing (once the uc falls off) and the nail trimming that have me worried!!
