Q: Pain In Right Side

I'm having a sharp pain in my right side. It seems to get worse as I breathe in and when I cough it hurts. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and when the baby moves I can usually tell. I was wondering what could be causing this.

Your gall bladder and your appendix are located on your right side. Any chance of one of those being the cause of the problem? It would definetly be worth having your doctor check out.

The pain is coming from my ribcage. I've been told I have gallstones but aren't sure where they were located.

Your gall bladder is located on your right side at the lower end of your rib cage. If you have gall stones I think your gall bladder is the problem and should be checked out.
