The first time it didn't even cross my
mind until I started getting symptoms a
few days before my period was due.
I also get severe morning sickness, so
maybe my body is just extra sensitive to
pregnancy hormones?

Okay, everyone thanks for your input, thus
far. But I haven’t been completely
honest about the month in which everything
occurred. However, everything else is
exactly how I mentioned it. She is now
in her 8th month of pregnancy as opposed
to the 1st month. The reason I said
march 06 instead of july 05 was because I
wanted to concentrate on the first month
of pregnancy only. Hopefully, you all
will understand that.
So, go back exactly 7 months from the
dates I originally gave you. The weekend
that she and I actually had intercourse
was july 31 to aug 1 (not march 4-6).
The date she gave the doctor as the last
period date was july 22 (not feb 24,
2006). The date she called me and told
me was monday, aug. 15 (not march 20).
My calculations indicate her ovulation
date should have been aug 5/6 (not march
10/11).
So, i’m really hoping she is going to
have this child based on a march 31 due
date. Why? Well if she would have
intercourse with someone else right before
me then sure sperm would not have lasted
that long for an aug 5 ovulation, right?
Therefore, she would have gotten pregnant
in during her july 8 ovulation, right?
Therefore, she is due a month earlier than
previously thought.
So, my next question is wouldn’t the
doctors know by now that she is a month
further along than originally thought?
Please stay with me here and continue to
offer your opinions. I’m being honest
with you about everything, now.

she could have gotten pregnant from you
based on that info. Sometimes sperm can
live up to 5 days. If you slept with her
.Aug 1st and she really did ovulate on the
5th then yes, the baby could be yours.
Since you're so very doubtful, insist on a
paternity test. Take it to court if you
have to. The court will pay for the test
initially. If it's not yours, then you
have nothing to worry about and can walk
away. If it is yours, then you have to
reimburse the court for the test, and take
responsibility for this baby.

Well now that your story has changed I am
not really sure but based on the pregnancy
calculator wheel I have (i work in
disability insurance and deal with a lot
of wemon that try to get paid for
pregnancy when they are really pre-ex,
they change their dates and we use the
wheel to get an idea of when they
acctually conceived.)
07/22/06 lmp
08/05/05 approx conception date
04/30/06 due date of the child on or
around
i dont' really know anymore, not really
sure what to belive but you need to get a
paternaty test. That is all I have to
say. This may or may not be your child.
Who knows but the baby.

Again, guys, wouldn’t the doctors know
by now that she is a month further along
than originally thought?
I'm hoping she has the baby within the
next week as opposed to the end of next
month.
Do doctors periodically examine the cervix
during the last trimester or do they only
examine just before a couple of weeks of
the estimated due date?

.Ya know what... She could deliver
tomorrow and still have it be your baby.
Date of delivery isn't really a great
indicator of conception if the baby is
born prematurely.
If the baby were conceived a month before,
then yes the dr's would "probably" know
from the size of the baby in u/s photos.
The fact remains that you have no way out
of taking a paternity test. Does she
know that you doubt the baby is yours?
.E.T.A: dr's often check the cervix in the
38th week to see if the cervix is soft and
dilated at all, and to check the position
of the baby (head down, engaged). Some
dr's don't because it doesn't really "do"
anything except give some information on a
possible timeframe for delivery. It's
all guesses.

I really don't thing you are going to get
out of this one unless the girl is a tramp
and has been tramping around.
Most wemon don't have a period at all
while pregnant and she said that she had
one in july. Some girls do have one or
two while pregnant so if that is the case
when they do the sonogram they measure the
baby and can tell how far along (by
measuring the baby's head) she really is.
If she was 4 weeks farther along then you
claim she is then they would have changed
her due date.
She has been seeking medical treatment
right? Well she would have had sono at
about 18-25 weeks and they would have told
you guys that she was farther along than
that.
So in answer to your question, yes her due
date would have been changed by now. I
think that your .S.O.L. But I guess time
will only tell.

I'm still focusing on the fact that she
says she got a positive pregnancy test
*t.W.O w.E.E.K.S* after having sex with
him. What are the chances of that? And
what are the chances of his sperm living
for 5 days? They're both very low. I
really feel that she's lying to him.

first, you have no idea when she ovulated.
Unfortunately we can't calculate
ovulation just by counting days. The
average woman ovulates on day 14, but many
don't. If she happened to be average and
did ovulate on day 14, she still could
have gotten pregnant on the 1st.
There are ovulation predictor kits in all
drug stores for this reason. Many, many
women do not know exactly when they will
ovulate.
Yes, most likely the doctors would know
how far along she is, especially if
ultrasounds have been involved.
You don't have much longer to wait and
then you'll be able to get a paternity
test. From everything you said,
timing-wise it's quite possible you're the
father.

again, it's extremely common to get a
positive (when pregnant) pregnancy test
result two weeks after conception (or
after "having sex with him."). The
chances are very high. Not very low. I
honestly don't see where you are coming up
with your information. You're simply
wrong.
Now, I do agree that the chance the sperm
lived for 5 days is pretty low, but we
have no way of knowing exactly when she
ovulated, so maybe she ovulated the day
they had sex or the day before or the day
after. There is no way of knowing.

Yes, you can be pregnant and still have
your periods. Sad but true.

Hmm, I guess the general consensus is for
you to get a paternity test.
