How far along is your .Dr telling you you are??

The only thing I can think of is you're not counting the 2 weeks before the embryo implants itself into your uterus.

I went to the .Dr yesterday and he told me I was 35.3 weeks preggy....Ask your .Dr exactly how many weeks you are

i guess different .Drs have different methods of predicting dates.....Mine told me to tell people i'm due the 1st week of may instead of a specific date, because I more than likely won't deliver on that date.

This whole week thing confuses the hell out of me!!!

my doctor tell me everytime I go in how far along I am. Today is 33 weeks and 6 days. My due date is may 10th, which is exactly 6 weeks and 1 day from today.

Oh well...I try not to stress over days. I just go by what my doc tells me ya know? I trust him to know when i'm due. This is my first baby so I highly doubt i'll deliver on my due date. Hopefully I deliver on .May 1st which is my .B-.Day!!

Does your .Dr check you with the tape measurer?? Cuz my .Dr just feels around and checks my fundal height with his hands.

Another question...My baby's heatrate went down to the 140's...And it's normally in the high 50's low 60's....My .Dr said this is because she's ran out of room and isn't flipping and being as active to make her heart rate go up...Have you experienced this??

yeah, I doubt i'll deliver on my due date, but I wish! Lol. Yeah she checks me with a tape measure but last time she did (monday) I swear I heard her say "36...Good". I thought it was supposed to be the same as how far along you are in weeks?? I've been gaining weight like crazy lately, while not eating nearly as much so i'm having an ultrasound on april 4th to check on baby's size. Hopefully i'm not further along than they originally thought.
I haven't experienced the hear rate problem, but i'm guessing since your doctor isn't worried you shouldn't be either.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were further along than what they originally thought. It's all estimated though...So we gotta take that into consideration!! I would hope i'm not further along than what they think! I still have lots of caca to do!!!! Lol...My baby shower isn't until .April 9th!! My next ultrasound is at 38 weeks to measure the size and position of the baby!! I get sooo excited when ultrasound time comes!!!

I have medicade so they only give you 2 ultrasound...I paid for my second one cuz I wanted another one!! Lol...It was only 150 though so it wasn't that bad!! (didn't last long for 150!!)

he didn't sound bothered at all about the heart rate...He said it happens to everyone....Now if it started to go up...Then I think he;d have a little mor concern...But he thinks everthing is perfect thus far!!

I had my baby shower on sunday the 26th, but i'm having another on april 2nd. One for my side of the family and one for my hubby's side of the family.

I'm on medicaid too, but this will be my 3rd ultrasound, and I won't have to pay for it. They told me as long as the doctor is the one that wants the ultrasound I won't have to pay for it. $150 isn't that bad though, i've heard sometimes they can be up to $400. The medicaid might just be different from state to state. My hubby is so excited for the ultrasound, he would probably be glad if I was further along that they thought. He always talks to my belly and tells him to come out! Lol. He doesn't get out of college for the semester until may 6th though, so it would be a bit more difficult for me. Oh well, whatever happens happens. I'll be excited either way.

I had an ultrasound that was $600. The one at the clinic where I mainly go was just $250. Shows the local hospital is greedy!

I am officially overdue! My due date was march 22nd. I wanted to induce when I saw the doctor yesterday, but then changed my mind this morning. He said there was a 60-70% chance of cesarean section although the baby's head is head down in the pelvis, it's not "fully engaged" meaning it floats away when he pressed on my cervix. Ok, when you get to that point girls, having you cervix manually probed really hurts!

I've been 60% effaced for a week, and am holding at 1cm. I decided to hold off on inducing (costs another $421.00) for a week. Maybe something will naturally progress? Maybe they have the due date off by a week???

I am self employed, and the cost of a c-section is $11,171.85 that includes the local, and epidural........It's all a money making racket!! My health plan with regence blue shield of idaho, I have a $5,000. Seperate maternity deducatable. In addition, there's my regular $2,000. Deductable. Which means we are responsible for paying $7,000. Out of pocket! Then, and only then then does the health plan kick in, and foot the bill for 80% of all bills.
Oh yeah, and the doctor's delivery fee is $2,500. So needless to say it's all going to be an arm and a leg in the end. Never mind my husband and I are already $24,000. In debt.

Anyway, just all put good thoughts into the baby coming soon, and naturally!
