good, good. You just hear about these people doing nothing but having kids so they can continue to live off the government... :-)

Yeah my sister is one of those people. But if the government make it easy to do that, then what do you expect? Ofcourse people are going to take advantage of the system where they can. Your problem should be with the government not with those people.

i do feel the government is flawed in this area. I still have a problem with people who blatantly sponge off the rest of the country just because they're lazy. :-)

Well, at least you have ambition, and you're not just sititng around soaking up your parents' money. Are you getting child support if you're not with your daughter's father? If not, how much are you getting paid a week with your three jobs?

i'm in alberta too :)

I just want to say I think it's a good thing you've got going with your parents. They're helping you prepare to be on your own and allowing you to start saving at the same time.

I dont know if other provinces do this, but in manitoba, if you have a low income, u can get money for being pregnant. When I was 17 I got 80 dollars a month form the government for food for myself to get healthy. Tho I have seen people take advantage of that ans the child tax credit, its available to those who need it.
