Endometrial Hyperplasia? Am Trying to Get Information About Posted: 03-28-06 22:02pm
I was browsing the net earlier trying to
find something that matched my symptoms
and came across an article on endometrial
hyperplasia. The article was pretty
brief and from what I was reading it was
just about on target with my symptoms
which include irregular bleeding, thick
uterine lining, swollen abdomen and some
other things.
I also fit the profile for women that are
at risk - white, overweight, started my
cycles before age 12 and i'm over forty
yrs old.
Has anyone on here had this condition? Or
know something more about this condition?
I am scheduled for a d and c on may 4,
thats five weeks of uncertainty and i'd
like to be informed on this condition as
it seems to match my symptoms to a tee (at
least I think they do).

sorry to
get back to you so late on this. I had
hyperplasia 2 years ago. Doctor
recommended a hysterectomy, but was
willing to try progesterone therapy first.
Within 3 months my uterus went back to
normal and I am now back to pap smears
just once a year -- instead of 4 times a
year.
