I think you do get upset stomach during third trimester coz I remember I was also panicking when I had the runs and etc. But my mw said its normal as long as you drink plenty of fluids to avoid you from dehydrating it should be ok. My stomach also gets constantly hard at some point but you also have to monitor if the baby's moving 10 times per day or more.
If you're really worried just book an appointment with your doctor
good luck!

It sounds like you need to be drinking more water. I had this exact problem and went into early labor. It happened more than once and every time, it was due to not having enough to drink. You need to be drinking a .G.A.L.L.O.N of water per day.

just remember that 35 weeks is not that early if you do go into pre-term labor. Baby is considered full term from 37 weeks. Try not to worry everything will be just fine--even if you go into labor early. And also remember that braxton hicks contractions--are real contractions--just not as hard as true labor is, so your belly does, and will contract. Good luck. Speedy and safe delivery for you.

.Dehydration can bring on early labor. The symptoms you're describing seem to me to be dehydration if your belly is contracting but not releasing. You can't just be drinking "a lot of water" but you should keeping track and drinking a gallon a day. That's about what, 55 ounces or so per every 24 hours.

If your belly stays hard and doesn't release the contraction then you may want to call your Dr.

Samantha I wouldn't write that in stone if I were you. When your ankles start to swell like baseballs and your .Dr tells you to drink water, you'd better drink water.

They aren't making it up that you need to drink a gallon a day. It really isn't hard to do especially when you're 35 weeks. I find myself chugging water alll day long and I still have slight swelling.....

Water is your best friend during pregnancy. Have it be in the begining or in the end!

The water will definately help though...Mines are too...But not as bad as I know they could be.

I have this huge cup with a handle and I can fit lots of ice and water in it and drink on it for like 10 mins!!!! I gulp it too fast though!!

If water gets too boring i'll squirt some lemon juice and put a 'splenda' in it and have lemonade!!! Lol

not drinking enough water isn't always the reason for swelling. There are plenty of other reason, like eating too much salt. My hands and feet were a bit swollen, but i've been trying not to eat as much salt and they aren't really swollen anymore. I do drink some water, but not that much, and I don't think I ever will.
